Lord Ganesh
Ganesh Panchratnam with Gajendra Moksha Yagya
Yagya Announcement
11 Pandits, 11 Days – 10 February to 20 February 2026
From 10 February to 20 February 2026, eleven classically trained Vedic Pandits will perform the Ganesh Panchratnam with Gajendra Moksha Yagya, a concentrated 11 day offering for the yajamana who wants to begin again with clarity, strength, and protection. This is a powerful combination because it brings together two timeless currents of Vedic yagya practice, the removing of obstacles through Lord Ganesha, and the grace of deliverance that arrives when surrender becomes complete.
The Ganesh Panchratnam is a five jewel hymn traditionally attributed to Adi Shankaracharya, revered for invoking Ganesha’s presence as the one who clears the unseen blocks that delay progress, dull discernment, or scatter the mind. The verses praise Ganesha as the support of auspiciousness, wisdom, and right action, and the traditional phalashruti speaks of blessings that include wellbeing, prosperity, knowledge, and harmony in family life, all outcomes that many yajamanas seek when they feel life is ready to move forward again.

Alongside this, the Gajendra Moksha portion calls forth one of the most moving accounts of divine rescue, found in the Bhagavata Purana. In that story, Gajendra, the elephant king, is caught in a battle he cannot win alone, and at the very end, offers a lotus and calls out with full devotion, and the saving grace arrives. It is remembered as a teaching that when effort is exhausted, sincere surrender opens the door to liberation and renewed life, even from circumstances that feel impossibly stuck.
For the yajamana, this 11 day yagya is often chosen at moments of transition, when you want to remove delays, break repeating patterns, and step out of fear or confusion into steadiness. It is especially supportive when you feel pulled down by pressure, overwhelmed by responsibilities, or caught in a situation that seems to drain your strength, because it invokes both the intelligence to choose rightly, and the grace that protects when you have done all you can.
As the mantras are offered each day, your sankalpa becomes the thread running through the entire performance, held in the sound current and the fire offering by the Pandits on your behalf. Many yajamanas participate with intentions such as protection for family, success in a new venture, clearing obstacles in career or education, healing emotional heaviness, and restoring faith and courage after setbacks.
If you are ready to begin the next chapter with fewer obstructions and more divine support, this is a rare 11 day window to align your intention with a deep Vedic current of upliftment. Bring one clear prayer, one sincere commitment, and let this Ganesh Panchratnam with Gajendra Moksha Yagya carry it forward, with 11 Pandits and 11 days of focused mantra power, for the upliftment, protection, and progress of the yajamana.
